First time to Botswana/Zambia
I leave for Botswana on the 11th and look forward to three weeks of excellent game viewing, with a good deal of thanks owed to the folks who frequent this forum. Jasher and Kavey - I look forward to meeting you for a bite and a spot of tea on the 12th when I arrive in London with that ghastly 9 hour layover...Hope I get the privilege of seeing some wild dog and a pangolin. This is so exciting - I love Africa!!!

Hoping Canechick sees this - I can't find your email anywhere and I can't find any details on whether we arranged a final venue.
My suggestion would be to meet at Gerrard's Corner in China Town at 12.30 (depending on when you get in to town) -it's on the corner of Wardour Street and Gerrard Street.
Please can you get in touch and either confirm that suggestion or we can work out another?
Thanks
Kavey
PS Julian, I'm assuming that works for you as I know you like their dim sum and have been there with me before.

Have spoken to Julian and I believe you guys are planning to speak on the phone over the weekend so will be able to set a restaurant then!
I'm up for anything as long as it's cheap - I'm totally broke at the moment!

Oooh hey, I just remembered an old favourite that does a really great set menu offer for lunch - about £14 for 2 courses and £17 for three. The food and service have always been good when I've visited and the tables are spaced far enough apart to enjoy conversation without feeling like you're in a zoo!
It's called Circus and is not too far from Picadilly Circus though quite hard to find without a map as it's northwards on Upper James Street.
Julian, tried to call you back on the moby but couldn't get through. Check it out - let me know what you think?

Sorry I won't be joining you - as I mentioned to Julian when we were discussing a shortlist on Friday and Saturday, my finances are strapped at the moment and Yauatcha isn't really an inexpensive option so I'd rather not meet there.
Still, hope you have a lovely time.
