Finally we're off and running!
We leave tomorrow for Zambia - seemed like we'd never get here! Thanks to all of you for your very helpful advice, and for keeping me entertained for the last several months. I've become an Africa board addict, much as I hate to admit it 
We'll be taking many pictures, and with luck some of them might even be keepers. No matter what, I figure we are going to have one of the best trips we've ever taken. Can't wait for our first elephants and giraffes in the wild. Hopefully NOT charging our vehicle. Don't thing my photo skills are up to capturing the action under those circumstances!
Tigerpaw and Cooncat and Stephani - we'll see you all at Chiawa, and we'll hoist a few to the Fodorites!

YEAH STAMIYA! You're finally off! Have a great time and I know you will! Tell the folks at Luangwa River Lodge and Puku Ridge that I said HELLO! Travel safe and enjoy every minute! Good luck with the dogs!

We leave in 5 hours for the airport! Can't believe the time is finallly here.
I also want to thank everyone for all of your help. Was all much appreciated.
Dennis, I will also extend your greetings at LRL. And thanks for your recent sightings report from there. Hope all those animal stay around.
