I just Googled 'Festival Des Rose Kalaat Mgouna 2012'. Why not do that too? Then you'll know as much as I do.

It is confusing, I know. I Googled again and can't find the link. But I did find this tidbit:

The dates or the actual festival is never absolutely definite as it depends on the rose harvest, the season and the powers that be - the Moroccan Tourist Office in London has usually proved a good source for receiving pending information as soon as it comes available.

Which makes a lotta sense and probably explains why you can't find a definate date. Roses don't grow on cue.

Actually, i've done many research about it used several search engines, but with no result about the exact dates.
Anyway; Thanks a lot for your efforts helping hopefully someone will give a help about this because our trip want it to be based on that event.

In that case, why don't you contact the Moroccan Tourist Office in London mentioned by dogster? What makes you think any fodor posters will know? We may be good, but we don't have occult powers.

I've contacted so many resources for this event but don't know why really no body has any updates about it ! wierd

I stumbled across the festival by accident a few years back. Lots of Moroccan 'line dancing' but really interesting.
