I will be in Nelspruit for 3 weeks starting June 15. I am packing clothes for the trip and am wondering what's appropriate? Questions: do I bring any tank tops? I read to only bring light-colored clothing but I have a lot of dark blues. Ok to bring? Does it get really cold there at night this time of year? What would you recommend? Thanks in advance!

I would not bring tank tops because it is cool much of the time and when it is hot, you may want more sun protection than tank tops afford. It got down to 7 C at night.
I was in Sabi Sands last year around the same time you are going and wore all my layers, including a down vest, wool hat/beanie, gloves when on game drives in an open vehicle in the morning and at night.
Dark blues are bad for tse tse flies because it attracts them. I did not see any tse tse flies that time of year in Phinda or Sabi Sands area.
Yes, it does get cold at night. On game drives in open vehicles you will want plenty of layers. I think it'll be too cold for tank tops even in the daytime. I wouldn't worry about tsetse flies. I don't think they live as far south as South Africa.
