feedback on Morocco itinerary in September

My wife and are are independent travelers in our low 50s. I'm looking for suggestions on "must see" sights, places to stay (preferably comfortable/cozy riads), possible itinerary changes or any other suggestions you might have for our itinerary below. We will be renting a 4x4 and we are planning to travel on our own. We like culture/people, scenery, good food and photography. You can see some of my trips at http://www.josevigano.com/trips

Day 1: arrival in Marrakesh afternoon); visit El Fna in the evening; stay in Marrakesh
Day 2: leave to Rabat via Casablanca; stay in Rabat
Day 3: leave to Chefchaouen; stay in Chefchaouen
Day 4: Chefchaouen; stay in Chefchaouen
Day 5: leave to Fez; Volubilis; stay in Fez
Day 6: Fez; stay in Fez
Day 7: Leave to Imilchil (via Khenifra and El Ksiba), maybe catch the wedding festival (or visit the area); stay Imilchil
Day 8: drive to Gorges du Todra and Merzouga; stay in Mezouga
Day 9: visit Mezouga area; Sahara camel trip; sleep in tent in the desert
Day 10: back to the riad for breakfast; Tafilalt; Stay in Merzouga
Day 11: leave to Dades Gorge; stay in Dades Gorge
Day 12: leave to Ouarzazate via Valle du Dades, Skoura, stay in Ouarzazate;
Day 13: leave to Marrakessh via Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, Tichka pass; stay in Marrakesh
Day 14: Marrakesh
Day: 15: fly back early morning
