Hi there. I'm going on to Egypt last wk of Feb and was wondering if its any cheaper to purchase internal flights from a local TA, or do it myself on expedia. I've read in this forum that with Egypt air, flights have to be reconfirmed again and again?..is this true?...one last thing, I guess flights to Abu Simbel (from Cairo) are usually done with TA's. ( I can't seem to find flights for these over the major travel websites or the egypt air website.)..thank you in advance.
Egypt internal flights---expedia or local TA?

We used Lady Egypt travel to book all internal flights, including the charter to Abu Simbel. I would recommend them. All flights were booked without any problems. We even changed one internal flight and they took great care of us. Their local reps were also professional and helpful.
It's really best to have the TA (whether in your home country or in-country Egypt) to handle these as well an Egyptian rep to check you in. When arriving at the airport on your own and not speaking the language, those with Egyptian representation, they'll get first service and attention, while you wait and wait.
If your TA is using an in-country land outfitter, they should be able to handle all of this for you.
thank you!
