Yes, I feel it is safe to come to Egypt as a tourist. No problem there. See other threads here from tourists that have been here since 25 January (the Revolution date). The overwhelming majority felt it was safe.
One mother was ranting that it wasn't safe, but turned out she had no clue what she was reading - something from Feb that did not apply to her sons trip

Travco is by far and away the LARGEST Egyptian tour company in the country. Everything you do with Travco will be on Travco's on boats, in Travco's own hotels, and even shopping in stores they own. They are HUGE! They've figured out how to make every penny/pound you spend come back to them - somehow.... fortunately, they do employ Egyptians so even with that much commercialism in one company, some of it gets back into the hands of some deserving Egyptians.

Egypt Air is a good airline to use in my estimation. It was the only one that during the Revolution continued service so flights out of the country were uninterrupted. I was out of the country when the Revolution started and was supposed to come back on Feb 4 via Iberia. I finally had to come back via Egypt Air on Feb 24. Other airlines were very unreliable. I should have booked Egypt Air originally.

Weather in November is spectacular. Probably the most comfortable it is all year long. Like a nice summer temp - 70's to low 80's.

Personally would stay flexible if I went so I could change my plans

Quickly if needed not lock in large amounts of money on anything

I believe the Poster asked about Travcoa, not Travco.
Travcoa is, in fact, a very high end and expensive tour company which is, I believe, operating out of the US.

Apologies. I have NO idea about Travcoa as I don't see their name in Egypt - although they may operate here through a local company that would be more familiar.

I'm with JerryS - Travcoa is a very expensive tour operator out of the US. Priced much like an A&K tour. There are better options at more competitive pricing if you use an "in-country" tour operator.

November is an ideal month in which to travel, especially good weather.

I was referring to Travcoa, a US tour operator. I agree travel insurance is a must.
My son is tracking the situation from Istanbul, his home base. A business group is going this week. We'll get feedback after they return.

Did you end up enjoying the trip? And did you go with Travcoa? I've traveled with them and loved it. It is a huge company, but they're excellent at what they do. You can plan on side trips to break away from your group if you like to explore, but I enjoyed the safety of traveling with such experienced travel directors. Please do tell!
