Dulini Lodge
We are planning a combined wedding and honeymoon. We are dealing with CCAfrica, as we had a such a positive experience on our recent trip to Botswana. Our agent has suggested the Dulini for the ceremony. I haven't been able to find much info about it. We are more concerned with seeing good game and some that we didn't see in Botswana and having a nice lux place to relax in. Has anyone stayed there? What are the rooms like and the other facilities?

Ajy,
First of all congratulations on the wedding. I was in Dulini in August. Fantastic lodge....very luxurious just like in the brochure. Plunge pool and the works. They also draw a bath for you when you return from your evening game drive, if you wish. Also, room for private dinners arranged for you on the look-out deck in the room.
Game viewing very good. Spectacular Lion and leopard viewing. You cant compare Botswana with the Sabi Sands. Both are chalk and cheese different.
I have a trip report on here. Just do a search...i think it is called Dulini trip report (Hari). It is on the Southern Africa Trip report index thread. The Western Sabi Sands has a co-alition of 6 huge magnificant male lions.......very unique.
Feel free to ask me any questions.

Thanks for the info. Did you fly to Dulini from JNB what were the flights like and what times were they? I am trying to sort out whether we want to fly back to Canada on the same day or the next.

Ajy,
I flew into Dulini from Phinda. But, you can easily use Fed Air that is easy to fly from Johannesburg to Dulini. Dulini doesnt hv their own airstrip, but they use the services of Ulusaba (just a 10 min transfer to the lodge).
Usually, the return flight is sometime early afternoon back to Joburg. So, that you dont miss your morning drive.
