I have looked at the official webiste for Burj Dubai, but there is not indication of when the building will open. If any fodorites have any information about Burj Dubai please let me know.

Did the Burj close? When? Why?

sandi, I think you are thinking of Burg Al Arab, the hotel. I am inquiring about Burj Dubai, which will be the world's tallest building.
Ooooops, hate when so many places have similar names.
Anyways, tall buildings and me don't get on well together. Hate heights, even living in NYC. Good luck when you find out.
My ooooops, I spelt Burj Al Arab wrong. Yes, it can be confusing when so many places have similar names. I should have written in my op, that I am inquiring about the world's tallest building.
I think it's going to be first week of January.
