Dubai Desert Safari - Toddler Friendly?

Hi,

We are travelling to Dubai in October with our 18 month old son. I am not so keen on doing the 4WD through the dunes & I certainly dont want our son doing so either. Can anyone suggest a company that may allow my husband to do so & that I can wait at the dinner area for him. I dont want to be split up from him for to many hours though. Or is there a company that does an alternative? We dont want to miss out on a dinner in the desert altogether..

Thank you.

I am also looking for a dunes dinner without the "dune bashing" as I get car sick. Any thoughts for both of us.

Platinum Heritage Tours takes you through the desert in a very sedate and posh manner in 1950's open Land Rover vehicles. The dinner is excellent, and it is not nearly as big as the other outfitters, there are only about 20-40 at the dinner each night.

Our desert safari with Platinum Heritage Tours exceeded all of our expectations in June 2013.

We LOVED it and cannot wait to go to Dubai again!
