Delta trip Aug/28-9/10 Sooooo excited!!

Don't know why I had to re-register, but oh well. With your input I have IMHO the perfect Botswana trip planned:) Elephants and Wild Dogs were key. There will be 3 couples (ages 50-63), so essentially a private vehicle. We decided to go with Bert at Fish Eagle Safaris and he's been wonderful putting this together for us. I was trying to keep costs down a bit, hence only 3 private reserves. And several of us are also birdwatchers and 2 of us photographers-we came back w/6300 pics from Serengeti in '08!

3 days in Chobe
3 in Lagoon
3 in Little Kwara, then boat cruise down Delta to
2 in Xakanaxa and ending with
2 at Stanley's

I was thinking about doing 4 at Lagoon and Kwara until I read about having brunch w/Doug and Sandy Groves elephants (Stanley's) and read the reviews. Wildlife viewing may not be as good, but just the thought of walking through the bush with African Elephants literally sent shivers down my spine. And I thought a perfect ending to our trip.

Any thoughts or recommendations- specific camp guides, tent locations, side excursions or general comments would be greatly appreciated:)
