hey everyone , iam in tel aviv right now and iam thinking about have a day trip to petra ,but iam not sure if it`s posiable ,and worth is that ?
or should i stay longer than that , i heard it dosn`t need more than a day .

hi eleonora , i guess it`s possiable to do that , actually it was so easy from taba in egypt to do a day trip ,one day is good so far but ofcourse if u can stay like 1 night instead like 2 days would be even better .
From TLV it'll be a very very long day. It's doable, but if you have the time, stay for a 2nd day.
It's often easier from Eilat where you cross the nearby border and then head north to Petra and return later in the day by dark. Still a long day, why a 2nd would be best.
I had two full days in Petra, and could easily have used another day. Click on my name for my TR and a link to my photos. I think one day is really short-changing Petra - there is much more to see than just the Treasury that shows up in all the photos. Petra by night isn't bad either, if you slow down and avoid the crowds.
