Custom travel journals
I thought I’d share a discovery - http://www.renaissance-art.com/. Very cool, handmade, rustic travel journals...and they get them done in a day or so. You can pick the leather color and closure type; lines, no lines or a combination (in a dozen different configurations); marbled end papers; customized title pages; and even have the cover debossed with your monogram or journal title or whatever.
I bought each of us a photo journal (108 pages with 36 photo sleeves in the center) in a different color/closure combination, all debossed with “South Africa, August 2007” on the cover, and a custom title page with the person’s name and our itinerary. They turned out really great. I’m going to wrap my families' and give them to them on the plane.

Another cool option for a custom travel journal is Bound. Handmade to order in North Carolina. You can customize exactly what content you want in addition to the cover. For what it's worth. www.boundforanything.com. -Joel
