Cultural Dance Festival - Jul 18 to 20

Hello, just wanted to let everyone know that there is a Cultural Dance Festival planned for Jul 18 to 20, 2012. The festival will be in the small town of Mugumu, located just over 1 hour North of the Ikoma gate (Serengeti).

This event will be about as close to the real deal as you can get. So real that it will probably not be totally organized. But they have invited several cultural dance groups from around the country. I'm not exactly sure how it will all play it but I wish I could go. I think there will probably be a dance competition of some sort between different groups. If you can go, give it a shot and let us know how it goes.

The location of the event is intentionally not in a place where tourists normally visit. This is the second year of the event and everyone is hoping that it will grow into something bigger each year.
