Chinese, Pakistani, and Indian visas in Dubai? Easy to get?
Ok, my question is where is it easiest to get a Chinese, Pakistani, and Indian visa (for a Canadian) in Dubai, or Central Asia?
I am visiting Dubai in January, Iran (in the Spring), and then Central Asia (specifically Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan), in the summer. I am crossing the Chinese border, to Kashgar, then down to Pakistan on the Friendship Highway, and finally entering India at the Lahore/Amritsar border.
Of course, I will need a Chinese, Pakistani, and Indian visa, but I want to get them at the easiest consulate, or embassy in the neighbourhood. Should I buy all these tourist visas in Dubai? Is it easy there, or should I get them as I need them on the road in Iran, or Central Asia? I've heard the latter can prove bothersome, as some embassies are harder to deal with outside the industrialized world.
Getting a Chinese visa in Canada was really easy, no questions, and just 3 days, for $50, and I got 3 months. What can I expect in Dubai?

Anyways, as a Canadian citizen it's best to get your Indian visa before you leave home. Don't know where the Indian consulate is - but, I know in the USA Americans can apply in either NYC or Washington.
shoeman - do you go by any other names? sandy456 maybe?
Check the information page for each of these countries; whether visas are available in Dubai. If so, great.
But do remember that most visas expire; are only good for specific number of months, often only three. You don't want to chance having gotten visas that they expire before you can use them.
I know it's more expensive, but maybe you should contact a Visa Service for information and even having them handle for you.
