CDW? SCDW? About to rent a car in Nairobi and having "pre-rentum" concerns

Months ago I read every line of my Visa and Amex car insurance policies; I have checked on the brand new value of the car we are renting (not to be more than $65,000 CDN - it's not easy to find the new cost of a Kia Sportage in Namibia!) - and just spent an hour making sure those policies haven't changed and confirming that the Visa one is the best.......and once again going over Hertz's definitions with a fine tooth .... well internet connection, if not comb.

yet.....

I still am nervous about declining CDW and Theft/etc - but I think I do want to take the Windscreen insurance .... any positive/negative comments at this very last minute?

On the plus side - we are leaving Simon's Town after 3 wonderful weeks - I believe I have never eaten as much shellfish in my life! Food/weather/rental house all fantastic.....
