Casual Cairo Detours-Highly Recommended!
If you are in Cairo for a few days, I strongly urge you to use Casual Cairo Detours. They provide private guides around the city. Colin and my driver took me around City of the Dead, Citadel, and Islamic Cairo. It was a full day and I really, really enjoyed myself. The staff is very knowledgable and take good care of you. Colin took me around The famous Khan el Khalili as well. I wouldn't have been able to do that on my own because I wouldn't have known where to purchase authentic Egyptian items and I would have gotten lost! Believe me it will be worth your time and your money.

And what a lovely singing voice that is!!!!!
Haven't used them for a tour, but have met Debbie and "seen" her in action at the Citadel. Wise choice and well worth the money.

Hi Grcxx3....Gee Thanks, you must have heard me sing!!
You cannot tell where the Great Caruso stops and I take over. !!
Yes Debbie is very good and what people that are taking a tour to Cairo and the Nile Cruise ,should know is that......
you will not see all the major places in Cairo by whatever tour you have booked with.
This is where Debbie comes in.
Come at least a day or 2 earlier ( book Debbie before coming) and have her show you all the places you would otherwise have missed because your regular tour cannot take you everywhere.
I practice what I preach, as I recently returned from a 3 week Safari in Kenya and Tanzania and 5 days at the Spice Islands of Zanzibar
However......
I came into Nairobi 2 full days earlier, because they were so many places I wanted to see in Nairobi.
I did not just want to fly into Nairobi and then the next morning headout to the Serengeti and other Safari places.
Well, its the same coming into Cairo. There is so much to see and do , and with Debbie , she will supplement your original tour.
So find that extra day or two , it is well worth the money.......and cheaper than trying to make a return trip in the future.
( Besides Debbie gives me 20% Commission of which I give Grcxx3.... 5 % yeah sure )
