Casablanca & Rabat in one day?

Would love to see both, but cruise ship docks at 8 and leaves at 6. I know the train to Rabat is only about an hour, but wondered if this would really be cramming too much into one day. Opinions?

No that's a good amount of time to see them both please don't miss that, you can see the Mosque and the Rick's Cafe in Casablanca but in Rabat you could experience more and more real side of Morocco far from the Modernity.

Would head straight to Rabat which is more of an imperial city with interesting attractions ,whereas: Casablanca is similar to any large city with jammed traffic & polution, of course the 2 mentioned attractions by the previous poster stand out.
