Casablanca hotel help!

I seem to be really struggling with coming up with a hotel for a couple of nights in Casa. I think I am reading too many reviews & getting swamped so would love some help please. So.....we need a hotel for a couple of nights in Cas.
This will be at the end of a long trip through several countries. Prior to this we will have stayed in a lot of local type places.
Will be travelling up from Marak by train have 2 nights in Casa before flying to Europe.
Would like, safe, clean, a resonable location for coming in on the train & out by plane (realize taxis will be involved!)
Would like to either walk to restaurants for dinner or have a place in the hotel.
As I said we will have been staying in riads etc around the country.
Would like to keep the cost at about US$100 or less.

Thanks so much in advance for any help & if there is more info I can provide let me know.

I had the same difficulty. I wound up staying in Rabat instead.

BTW, I much preferred Rabat, and there's good train service between Rabat and Casa.

I agree with Interpid,
Hotel Maamoura can save your pocket, and have a good experience, i'd also suggest Hotel Galia.

The Ibis Moussafir Casablanca is *right* next to the Casa Voyageurs train station, so getting to/from the airport is super-easy (about 30 minutes) on the train (no need for a taxi) and cheap too! The hotel isn't "luxury", but it is clean, functional, affordable and has a restaurant on-site too.

Any chance you have Starwood (SPG) points? I got a room at the Le Meridian Mansour for our last night there for $45 and 2800 points.

Really. Just give Cas a miss. Really. I absolutely adored Morocco, but Cas was not worth the time or money. And in fact Marrakech could have been done in one night. Fez is great, Essaoura lovely, Merzouga absolutely magical and the extra ten miles south to hear the Gnaou Groube Des Bambaras well worth it. But Cas -- please don't waste your time or your money.

Just my two cents worth...
