If I recall the Micato rolling duffle bags are green. Maybe not military green (close though), and certainly not with such logo. So, military duffle is fine, just NOT TO BE WEARING camouflage clothing.

However, even with weight limits, you're both allowed a bag, so why to put all into one makes little sense, and if you'll be doing carryon the international flights, easier with two than one large bag.

Wheeled duffle bags are NOT recommended for the small internal flights as the bags are squished into under plane luggage space and can easily be damaged (handles, wheels, etc.). As most all international transfer airport have luggage carts available for free, easy enough to use these rather than worry about a wheeled bag.

We just tie the two duffel bags and my backpack to it and off we go. Once past security, trolleys are not allowed, and some of the terminals are huge. It was very helpful when we had our heavy hippo on return!

I am more comfortable with neutrals, but luggage color doesn't matter.

Full Military look-a-like clothing will raise questions. Casual clothing with a camouflage print (eg: camo cargo shirts etc) will not be a problem.

Your duffel will certainly not be a problem!

Those luggage carts have been around for years... way before luggage came with wheels. Goodness... giving away my age What the flight crews used in the 70s & 80s. And, for sure you can find them for less than $50. Believe I have one in my closet and didn't pay more than $20 and shouldn't cost any more today. Many luggage shops carry these.

What size is the duffle? Most carry-ons are restricted to 9" * 14" * 22" and duffles are usually thicker than 9". I think SAA also restricts carry-ons to 8kg (17.6 lbs.)
