There is a #90 bus that goes from Herzliya Pituah to the Carmelit bus terminal right behind the Carmel Market. This line is operated by "Metropolin". Ir runs about every half-hour. You can find more information at www.bus.co.il (click on "English beta" and search by 'line number' - the Metropolin #90 is shown as going from T-A to T-A but it's the one to Herzliya P.)
You have two choices when going to the airport:
- take a taxi directly to your destination - a fixed price of about 130 NIS (150 at night)
- take the train to one of the Tel-Aviv stations (HaShalom is best), then take a taxi or bus to the market. The train schedules:

I assume that you will not be doing this on the Sabbath when there is no public transportation.

whoops - I just noticed that you want to go TO the airport.
- by train - my previous instructions in reverse.
- by taxi - call Hadar Taxis at (03)971-1103 several hours in advance to order a cab. The fixed price in that direction is about 90 NIS.
