Does anyone know if it's possible to fly directly from Vilanculos Airport in Mozambique to Kruger National Park in South Africa? Our travel agent has said that such flights have been discontinued (so we need to spend the night in Johannesburg in between). However, I keep reading about people flying direct and I'm confused as to how this can be done.
Can we fly direct from Vilanculos airport to Kruger Park?

yes you can, i believe the flights between the two only operate on Tuesdays and Fridays and are operated by pelican air. you might find that they are from the kruger to Vilancoulos only or visa versa.
Actually some of the flights have been discontinued but you can still fly Johannesburg - Kruger Airport - Vilanculos - Johannesburg. But not from Vilanculos to Kruger Airport. This with Pelican Air.
I am under the impression that they fly daily, but you can contact them on info@pelicanair.co.za
