Cairo International Airport
Will be arriving CAI on British Airways from LHR late evening. Best info I can see is BA arrival is in Terminal 2 at Cairo. Transferring to Aegean Airlines flight leaving out of Terminal 3. Is there an ability to change terminals without going thru Passport Control and thus having to buy a visa ?? How long would the expectation be timewise to complete the movement between terminals (I have 4 hours between flights).

This posted this morning by "amyzengrace"on TA (to you?):
If you decide to walk between terminals, you will have to go through immigration and buy an entry visa. However, if you tell the officials you have a connecting flight at Terminal 3, and can show them your ticket or travel documents (I had mine on my iPhone), they will contact an inter-terminal bus and it will come and pick you up and take you to the terminal, without having to buy a visa. You might have to wait 45 minutes for this to happen.
