I have been three times to the breaching of the great whites at False bay for 8 days at a time and plan to go again next year. What I can say. There is nothing as dramatic as a 3m white pointer exploding out of the sea 10 metres from the boat. Cage diving is also part of this experience. There are only two registered boats out of Simons town, both very professional. Both have cage dives in the morning as part of the
"Airjaws" experience and a separate tour in the afternoon. I have not been to Gainsbaai, so I cannot make a comparison. But I have written an illustrated article on the breeching white sharks in False Bay at http://www.artphototravel.net/africa/great-whites/ including images and map and normal boat schedule so prospective divers can get an idea of what to expect at this location.
