Botswana Tailormade

Hi,

can anybody help with a botswana private safari in august?

We already did a safari in Botswana, Botwana Explorer with cc africa and liked it a lot. One year later we made a safari in Tanzania and Kenya and enjoyed it very much to have our own car and our own guide. Would this be possible in Botswana (never heard of it). We love to stay in the bush for the whole day... and still looking for an alternative to Kenya these days.

Thanks for help.

Maybe you want to contact Robert Barber from Golden Okavango.
We met him in November. He seems to be a very nice guy with lots of knowledge.

Thomas,

thank you, that looks interesting.

Did you do a private safari in Botswana?

You certainly can do a private safari in Botswana. The only obstacle would be cost. You can fly from camp to camp and book a private vehicle. You can even have a private flying safari where your guide flies you from camp to camp so he stays with you the whole safari.

There are a variety of Botswana mobile safaris which do a lot of driving that you could book for two instead of a max of 6-8.

The private safari in a vehicle works better logisitically and costwise in East Africa.

You can try Masson safaris, Peter Comley, Roger Dugmore, and a few more,
Try to get a operator that belongs to Hatab, these are private sites and makes a mobile safari a bit better.
