Botswana before the floods took over (pictures)

Recently I visited some of the Kwando camps and was lucky to spend a fair amount of time with different cheetahs. I also saw my first pangolin ...

Pictures of my trips can be seen here:

Believe it or not but I didn't see any buffalo on my last three safaris in the Okavango.

Skimmer,

I saw your book that you left at Kwando Lagoon when I was there two weeks ago!

Lizzy, the manager at Duma Tau, said to say hi to you.

Craig,

Thanks for passing her regards. I guess she's still energetic as ever.

It must have been Lebala instead of Lagoon where you saw my album.

That back-lit elephant pic is simply EPIC!

Ciao,

I think Lebala was shut down for a few weeks as we were not allowed to go there. They probably moved everything to Lagoon for now.

You made the African Wildcat look wild despite its domestic appearance. Your birds are exceptional. So many cheetahs in one shot that it's a nature copy and paste!

All these guys are getting plenty to drink about now.

You seemed to be really lucky with wild dog sightings - how many in total? Very good pics of the pangolin - one of the smallest and most elusive.

Unfortunately I saw only one pack of 5 at Little Kwara. While at Lagoon, we tried hard to find them but we didn't succeed. Anyway I was so lucky with everything else that I can't complain about that.

Not all the pictures were taken by me. Various people visiting the Kwando camps have posted some of their fantastic pictures on that page.

F.e. the picture mentioned by Pixelpower was taken by Alwyn.

Thanks everyone for having a look at them.
