Have a great trip -- what's your departure date? and itinerary? Thanks and hope you see some good stuff (pangolin, maybe! -- that's tops on my list, and I just read in AustKaye's post that she touched one in the Sabi Sands).

Leave on Saturday, flying through London and seeing family. Overnight virgin flight to Joburg then 5 nights at Mala Mala Main Camp and 3 nights at Rattrays. Some great friends we first met at Mala Mala a couple of years ago are joining us for most of the time.
Kavey - video clips, I must figure out getting my own website so I can upload some clips.
Pangolin - MM with two sightings in a month is surely done for a while. Besides there is a rule at MM that interesting noctuirnal creatures shall not be seen by me.

Hi Matt,
I hope you get some great gameviewing - I am never disappointed in that at MM. Saw 6 cheetah there this time which was great! Didn't see the adult male of the Eyrefield Males which was disappointing. Also was sad, but relieved as well, that the old limping styx pride lioness died a few days before Xmas, saw her a few days before and she did look a sad and sorry sight. Saw 7 styx pride members on Londolozi on 25/12 on a kill, and I suspected then that she may have died.
You will absolutely love Rattrays. The room was just fantastic! If you find a 1GB of memory card, it belongs to me. I left it in the safe, and that afternoon when I was at another lodge and realised what had happened, it was gone. I would love to get those 300 photos that were on it!
Have a great trip!

Sadly, my Treo (T-Mobile) worked in Tunisia, so I was tracked down on many occasions. But at least I didn't come home to hundreds of emails. Have a great trip! The rumor is that the pangolin migration is about to commence.
