Thanks so much, guys!
I have been held in prison at work these last few days and haven't had but moments to spare - I tell you it just shouldn't be SO hard to get away from work for just 2 SHORT weeks. It wasn't this hard when we went for our two month cruise in 2003! Wow.
I'm off to my last day at work now (I have warned Jim he may be picking me up tomorrow morning ) and then I can concentrate on the laundry, last minute drug-store shopping, finding 40.00 in USD 1.00 bills (currency exchange place said they could only give me 10 - $1 bills when I bought the US money!), and finally packing on Sunday I guess. Oh and of course cleaning the house for the house & 12-paws sitter. (2 cats & a dog)
This year, Andrew wrote down 5:45 PM to come and take us to the airport, so I at least will not be awoken early on the day we leave! I also stapled it to his forehead....
But - the tiny stapler is packed along with the tiny tape; the gift bags (one for Kennedy & his family and Daniel & his family; and one for America Shares orphanage) are CRAMMED full and won't even hold one more gift, and all of MY clothes are laid out ready to give a light iron & into the huge Micato duffle bag.
This year both Jim and I have a digital camera, so we will take TONS of pictures, and my journal / field book is all done and ready crammed full of maps (for London), info and everything else I need - plus of course blank pages to write down EVERYTHING I experience!
I'll check back just before we go on Sunday - but - in the meantime thanks to everyone for the well wishes!!
