Best Starwood property in Dubai

I have a one night stay in Dubai and need to pick a hotel. I'd like it to be a Starwood property and care about distance to airport and it being realtively walkable to something interesting. Do y'all have any suggestions?

(Bonus question: Can I bring a bottle of wine in my suitcase or is that frowned upon?)

The closest to the airport is le Meridien Dubai, but there's nothing within walking distance there.
15 min from the airport (if no traffic) is Four Points Sheikh Zayed Road, the are some restaurants and pubs around it.
The ones with the nicest location are Le Royal Meridien and Sheraton jumeirah. Both are on the beach and just by the Jumairah Beach Residence Walk, which has lots of shops and restaurants/cafes. But they're 30 min drive from the airport and around 25USD taxi fare each way. But if you need to be back to the airport in the rush hour (5-9), you'd better not stay there.

I stayed in Four Points Sheikh Zayed Road Oct 09. It is the newest Starwood hotel in Dubai. The room is big and very clean. Service is smooth. Location is good unless you want a beach hotel.

Thanks both!

My flight is at 11 PM , but I am unsure if the rush hour mentioned in in the mroning or evening?

I will have a rental so less dependent on taxi. One thing which was suggested to me was to drive to Muscat and sleep there...

Sorry, should have mentioned that it's 5-9 pm. So if you stay at the beach, you should usually allow at least 1h to reach the airport.
As for the wine, the maximum allowed is 4 bottles per traveller.

Muscat in Oman? That's a 5h drive from Dubai!
