Banyan Tree Hotel in Seychelles?

Jump to last reply

Has anyone stayed at the Banyan Tree? We are thinking of going there on the second part of our honeymoon after safari in Kenya and Tanzania?

We stayed at the 2 Bedroom Beach front villa. We were 3 adults (all women) and 2 children. The property is beautiful, but on the second night, someone broke into our villa and stole few of our belongings and tried to get into one of the rooms, luckily the room was locked from inside.

We complained to the management early next morning and they did not want to accept something like this could happen. Half heartedly they called the secuirty manager and he said they can't see any foot steps in the sand and could not find any proof of anyone coming in to the villa, so we said we did not want to stay there cause we are only women and kids and they did not bother to make us feel safe or apologetic or give us solution to the problem, just plain denial... their reply to us wanting to leave was if you need help packing, the butler will be glad to do so.

Guess, they knew it was prepaid package and they already had their money and they refused to refund the unstayed nights, so far them their money is made, but for us our security comes first so we left... last time we step foot in a Banyan Tree property. TERRIBLE !!!!

So we checked out and then checked in to Constance Ephelia, and what an EXPERIENCE that was. The service was MIND BLOWING...!!

They heard about our experience at Banyan Tree, they were shocked at the lack of empathy and service and they made sure rest of our holiday was not ruined because of the stay at Banyan Tree. They went out of their way to serve/please us, organised complimentary dinners etc..made us feel wanted, cared for and secure. NO was never an answer from them, any request was a YES. Beautiful property and outstanding service. A DEFINITE MUST STAY !!

AFTER THIS WE ALL ARE A FAN OF CONSTANCE RESORTS.......
