Aqaba Itinerary help? Snorkeling in December or too cold?
We are two adults and one child traveling to Jordan in December. Here is a short portion of our long itinerary. Need some feedback on this and advise on snorkeling
Day 1 - Arrive in Wadi Rum, sightsee, stay ovrnight in Wadi Rum Camp
Day 2 - Drive to Aqaba, Activities/ Sightseeing in Aqaba. Overnight in Aqaba
Day 3 - Activities/ sightseeing in Aqaba, Late afternoon drive to Amman
Here are my questions
1. Is it possible to snorkel at that time of the year or is it too cold? Maybe our son will not snorkel but we would like to.
2. What is the best spot for snorkeling?
3. which would be the best hotel to stay at for easy access to beach and snorkeling?
4. What are some of the other activities in Aqaba to do?
5. Can we sightsee in Wadi Rum on Day 2 and then go to Aqaba late in the evening after sunset? Is the Day 3 till later afternoon enough time to do snorkeling? We will drive to Amman on Day 3 late.
Help and guidance will be greatly appreciated!

My Dad and stepmom went snorkelling in December but a wetsuit is a must.
Wadi Rum is huge and you won't see all of it in one day. I took a jeep safari tour and I recommend that. I was with a tour group but if you google I think you can arrange the same with a local operator.
Jordan is an incredible country, enjoy!!
