Any ideas for a tour of Southern Africa in Aug/Sept

Jump to last reply

I'm (or I should say we're) planning a honeymoon for 6 weeks round Southern Africa from 1st August 99 and I wondered if anyone had some ideas for a good route to follow. The only definite plans we've made so far are that we want to spend a week or so in Cape Town, and we definitely want to spend maybe 2 weeks in total on safari or in game parks.

So far, we've been considering South Africa, Namibia and maybe Botswana - is this a good time of the year to maybe do a fly-drive tour of these parts ? Anywhere specific that anyone can recommend ? I'd be grateful for any comments and suggestions.
