Sounds lovely R! Since you know the way, can I ride with you?

I can give you *Google Earth* directions on where to pick me up -- the most direct route as the seagull flies…

Baroque-ing in the Bush. This is a unique event. They take over Shingwedzi Camp in the Kruger Park for a weekend of music with Dr Richard Cock and his hand-picked musicians. The music will be supplemented with Richard’s amusing and informative talks on the pieces being performed, and the composers who created them. This is one of the best times of the year in the Park – the days are warm enough to encourage you into the pool, the evenings are beautiful, the trees are in full bud, and sometimes maybe even a rainstorm.
Minimum 100 people.
R2050 camping/person upwards to R3 520 per person sharing in the different huts- many with kitchen and bathrooms.

What an idyllic thought -- some of thge world's best music in one of the world's most magnificent spots. Best wishes to all who can attend.

It won't be as nice as Bach in the Bush, but I am planning on Mozart & Migration next year: Salzburg festival in August en route to the Mara.

(And just to be as immature as possible, even though I do understand that the music director's family name is not uncommon in Dutch, I am giggling a bit while wondering if his parents could not have chosen a different first name.)

Indeed.

Enjoy, Den

You have an immature gigglemate on this one rizzuto! I did not say anything because I have shown some wayward tendencies on the forum recently. I did try (for a second or two) to discover some logic why any parents would do such thing – thanks for Dutch lesson.
