Never heard of American Israel Travel, but can atest to Isram (located in NYC) and Gate-1 (located in Phila) - both reputable tour operators.

I've never heard of American Israel Travel and I've been here 52 years. I just googled them and called their number..they're located in Calabasas (west end of San Fernando Valley )...
Try Carole...she has clients from all over North America and i think she does mostly custom-made tours for families or couples, which people tell me are very reasonably priced. My wife and I are fiercely independent travelers and we've never used guides, other than in China and that was only for transportation as drivers....we usually drive everywhere we travel. Getting older now...just turned 80...so maybe my overseas driving is coming to an end soon....we're heading for return trips to Burgundy, Switzerland and Northern Italy in October, and I'm only going to drive for part of the time in France, and at the end of the Italy segment...train sounds pretty good at this point...in fact, better and better.

Hi Sandy, I to am interested in a tour with AIT, however, I have found no one that has used this company. I cannot find anything positive or negative. If you find information with this company, please post.
Margaret Morse tours out of Florida offer wonderful tours to Israel. They gave you everything they promised and more. Have an enjoyable trip. Shalom. ethel
Hdrecker - I still haven't found anything negative about AIT and the Better Business Bureau gave them an A Rating. Just wondering if you found any more info about them as getting ready to book our October trip.

i used them to tour Egypt israel and Jordan
they are great , excellent service.
whats nice is they keep the tours at an average size - not to big or too small. i got to meet nice people on tour and we are agreed we all enjoyed the trip.
The guide they use has been the best i have had in years , and i travel a lot
