Air Madagascar
I've already posted this on the airlines forum so apologies if you've seen it twice but I thought I might have more luck here. I am trying to organise a trip to Madagascar and quite a few of the agencies organise flights with Air Madagascar. Has anyone flown with them? I'd be interested to hear from you about the flight - comfort, service, safety..
thanks

Well, I'm flying them on some domestic flights within Madagascar in May. But I'm flying Air France from JFK to Tana for the international legs, and that's because for 120,000 miles, I was able to get a biz class ticket from New York to Madagascar (that prices at over $10,000).
As I'm sure you've discovered, there are not a lot of choices when it comes to flying to Tana.

There's a great trip report regarding Madagascar on flyertalk. Here's the link: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=352127

The food isn't all that great, even by airline standards, but the airline has a good safety record and has become surprisingly reliable in the past two years.
I fly Air Mad two or three times a year. It's fine.
