Advice on transfer between Zinkwazi Beach and Phinda

Jump to last reply

We are staying at some friends in Zinkwazi Beach before heading to Phinda for our safari. Our travel agent has quoted a private transfer which is about US$550 and that seems somewhat high for basically a 2.5 hour drive. While we could reach Phinda with a rental car, we are flying directly from Phinda to Sabi Sand so we wouldn't be able to drop the rental car off before departing for Sabi Sand. Does anyone have any thoughts on an alternative method? Not sure I want to go by city bus or anything but just don't love the thought of spending $550 for a two hour drive. Thanks for any thoughts.
