Abu Dhabi airport accommodation and changing Terminals

We will be arriving at Abu Dhabi airport, Terminal 3 just before midnight on 15th October and fly onto Cairo from Terminal 1 at 10.05am on the 16th. 2 questions. 1 - Should we be booking accommodation at the Airport hotel? 2nd - do we need to transfer between Terminals? Hope someone can help. Thanks
