A quick hello from Rocco at Lake Manyara Tree Lodge...

Jambo from a moist Lake Manyara.

Tarangire Treetops was excellent.

Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is beautiful.

Going tomorrow to Crater Lodge.

Weather has been great with a few brief showers and thunderstorms at night. Hopefully this will be good news for the Serengeti in a few days.

Cheers for now.

Hi Rocco, I'm so jealous but it helps to know I'll soon have many safari stories to read when you return!

Come on - skip the Crater!!

Drive straight (moja kwa moja) to Serengetti !!!

We can't wait to hear of the rain/grass/migration situation over there !!!!

Hey Rocco!
So jealous re: Manyara, it was dry as a bone when I was there last month!

Enjoy the Crater and the rest of the trip, and keep us posted =)

Hey Rocco,
Glad to hear about the rain. Manyara was dry as a bone when we drove by a couple weeks ago. We had awesome sightings nw of ngutu in the Serengeti. Got caught in drenching rain March 5 in Nairobi and were told that the rains were reaching most of the Serengeti.
Enjoy!
