Fodor's Expert Review Le Palais Art Hotel Prague

U Zvonařky 1, Prague, Praha, 120 00, Czech Republic Fodor's Choice

This venerable 19th-century mansion served as the home and shop of Prague's main butcher. Today, the only meat you will find is in the hotel's excellent restaurant. The distinctive rooms here have original frescoes painted by Bohemian artist Ludek Marold, and a hallway has a mosaic floor from 1897. Some rooms have fireplaces, and all have heated bathroom floors and free access to the gym. The nearest Metro (I. P. Pavlova) is a 10-minute walk away, but there is a tram stop just around the corner.
